Toby Dog Pull Along - Vilac
Toby Dog has been a well loved favourite at My Small World for many years, and after a little hiatus thanks to a few global issues (!!) Toby is firmly back where he belongs, and ready to be loved by yet another generation of children.
Designed by Vilac, Toby is as far removed from the disposable toy world as is possible. The process for making Toby - carving his shape, dip lacquering (where the toy is repeatedly dipped in lacquer, dried and then dipped again) takes weeks.
Our Toby is still going strong 16 years later, sitting on my desk at home and reminding every day of when my children were still teeny!
We love that he's so low to the ground... which means he stays upright even when chasing a wobbly toddler. His little wooden collar and bell add the scrumptiousness, and his head and tail are on springs, so he's constantly waging and nodding like all good boys!
